'Less Is More': Jury Issues $5M Slip-and-Fall Verdict Against Walmart

A former accountant, Adam McCall, won a $5 million verdict in a slip-and-fall case against Walmart. He attributed his injuries, which included long-term pain and cognitive issues, to a spilled bottle of olive oil in the store. Attorney Jason Javie, presented a concise and impactful case using visuals and surveillance footage to prove Walmart's liability. Walmart initially denied responsibility, stating it had no control over the incident. However, the jury found Walmart fully responsible for the accident. The jury awarded McCall $3 million for pain and suffering and $2 million for loss of enjoyment of life.
